The Reverend Allan Cole, Rector
As a priest, Allan is committed to beautiful, artful and meaningful worship and particularly to the proclamation of the Gospel message in preaching. He therefore devotes much of his time to the prayer and study that inspired preaching requires. Allan views the preaching of the Gospel as a call to new life. So the preaching event itself is not a solicitation to a certain way of believing, but to the decision of faith.
Allan is the fifth Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and received his Masters of Divinity from the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Following his ordination in 2000, he served as Assistant to the Rector at St. Andrew’s in Maryville, TN and then as Senior Chaplain at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, SC. Allan was appointed Priest-in-Charge at St. Paul’s in 2008 and was installed as Rector in May of 2011.
A native of North Carolina, Allan is the father of three sons. As a mountain biker, snowboarder, and lover of the outdoors (and as one who loves to wear cowboy boots), he is proud to call Colorado his home.
Kati Oltyan, Director of Office Ministries
Kati grew up in the Episcopal Church, and found her way back as an adult through music. She has been singing in the choir at St. Paul's since 2015, and couldn't be happier with her church home!
Professionally, she has spent most of her time in libraries, both public and academic, and is glad to be able to apply those skills in the office at St. Paul's. She also works as a costume designer for local theater companies, and as a costuming mentor to the theater students at George Washington High School in Denver.
Susan Hillring, Verger
Joe Montano, Sexton
Joe is proud to have been our sexton for almost twenty years. His favorite part is having the best parking spot.
Amanda Dorsch, Sunday School Coordinator and Nursery Lead
Amanda has had her life centered around children and taking care of them since the age of two. She spent her time fascinated with taking care of her little brother as well as her neighbors' grandchildren up until the age of sixteen. She loves to teach and learn new things, especially to watch children learn something new and watch the invisible wheels turning in their heads.
Amanda is married and is the mother of three young children. She considers herself a spiritual and outdoorsy person as well as an animal lover, the owner of two dogs and three fish tanks with an ever-growing animal family. She has been a member at St. Paul’s since January 2018.
Meg North, Media Ministry Coordinator and Associate Content Contributor
Meg started out posting LoveForward stories and her calling as “God’s Geek” has evolved ever since. She devotes her time to bringing St. Paul’s closer together as a community of faith and love by managing our website, FaceBook, and other social media profiles. You may often see her standing up to take photos in church or at community events. Meg is a technological guru - she loves to figure out how devices, websites, media and other such entities work, what makes them tick.
Meg graduated from Lakewood High School in May of 2019. She plans to follow through with her higher education to pursue a degree in Music Composition and Recording Arts at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She participated in all three years of the Colorado Youth Leadership Initiative, having graduated with her teammates after walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2017 and visiting Petit Trou de Nippes, Haiti in 2016. In addition to acolyting and maintaining our Media Ministry, Meg is a devoted cellist and performs regularly in church. She also gave a TED talk, featuring St. Paul’s, as one of 16 featured speakers at TEDxDakotaRidge in April of 2019.
A proud Colorado native, Meg is also an avid reader, composer, hiker, mountain biker, photographer, and video game programmer. She is excited to continue being a part of the St. Paul’s community.
